"虛體"的原文是Nolid 是 Allan Holden 在 Shapes, Space, and Symmetry(Holden 1991, p. 124) 提出的名詞 < http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0486268519/ref=nosim/weisstein-20 > Nolid : An assemblage of faces forming a polyhedron of zero volume虛體 : 一個由多個面交錯而成體積為0 的多面體。 PS : 嚴格來說，這個描述其實有違背了（多面體）的定義。

This puzzle is composed of thirty identical components, which assemble to form six pentagons that each interlock with the other five to form a hollow, snug, spherical form. Assembly is rather tricky, but fun (I think). Geometrically it is based on the "orderly tangle" of six pentagons first described by Alan Holden. The idea to use lap joints and make a puzzle from it comes from Teacher Lin and Sculptor Wu.
